Central BID continues to be the voice of business in central Birmingham.
The BID represents the views of its members, giving them a voice and to maintain service-level agreements with Birmingham City Council and West Midlands Police.

The BID has invested in a new network of market-leading Springboard footfall cameras throughout the area and weekly and monthly footfall data is available to members upon request. This enables data and insight to retail and hospitality performance and benchmark against other major cities.

The Central BID Text Local system has instant access to over 250 general managers and key personnel in stores to update them with business critical information affecting the city centre, such as planned protests, travel disruptions, unforeseen road closures and urgent security information. The allows businesses to cascade vital information to staff where necessary.

To effect positive and lasting change, Central BID continues to develop relationships with key city centre and national stakeholders to improve performance and optimise trading environment, all for the economic benefits of members.
