Pho Vietnamese restaurant in Birmingham’s Grand Central is serving the world’s first pink sriracha hot sauce with diners offered dishes for just £5 if they wear pink on Wednesdays during August.

The pink spicy sauce made from hibiscus flowers is exclusively available at Pho restaurants during August, including the popular one above New Street Station in Birmingham city centre.

To coincide with the pink sriracha, Pho is holding “Pink Wednesdays” throughout August, which allows anyone wearing pink to enjoy the £5 Pink Wednesdays menu including these tasty treats for £5 each.

Costing just £5 each in the deal are:

  • Spicy Pink Margarita – made from Tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, dragonfruit and Thai chillies
  • Crispy Spring Rolls
  • Summer Rolls – Fresh rice paper rolls with herbs, vermicelli, pickle and filled with chicken, prawn, veggie or THIS™ isn’t Chicken
  • Crispy Chicken Wings with pink sriracha
  • Ice cream – Slow churned Hackney Gelato in either honey & ginger or Madagascan vanilla
  • Sorbet – Slow churned sorbetto from Hackney Gelato in either raspberry, mango, coconut or dark chocolate
Pink Sriracha hot sauce

Partnering with premium Thai condiment brand SABZU, by Bamboomart London Limited, the new pink sauce is made from high-quality white Thai chillies grown exclusively in northern Thailand. It has an initial fruity note before finishing with a spicy heat and lends itself to the fricy (fruity and spicy) trend.
