Homegrown Birmingham restaurant Indian Streatery has expanded with a new branch at Resorts World. The family-run eatery is a true Birmingham success story that even attracted the attention of Prince William and his wife Kate.

Renowned for its Indian street food, food lovers can still get its wholesome menu at its flagship restaurant in Bennetts Hill in Birmingham city centre.

The cosy venue where it all first started has glistening fairy lights and is where William and Kate once visited in April 2023.

It’s won a series of awards since then too including winner of Most Innovative Casual Indian Restaurant at the SME UK Enterprise Awards and named Best Indian Street Food Dining Experience at the Restaurant & Bar Awards.

Food and drink at Indian Streatery

Opening in the city centre in August 2017, Indian Streatery has gone from strength to strength. It opened its new venue at Resorts World next to the NEC on May 25, meaning those going to a Resorts World gig can pop in to Indian Streatery for a pre-concert meal.

The team said: “The expansion is exciting. Expanding means longer days, bigger responsibilities and countless moving parts, but we’re incredibly proud that no matter which location you visit, the food, service and atmosphere remain true to who we are.”
