Birmingham will become the first UK city to host the European Athletics Championships in August 2026.
Seven days of world class sports action will take place at Alexander Stadium from August 10 to 16 with public transport links from the city centre direct to the championships.
But there will also be a screen to watch all the events live at the ‘Champions Square Athletics cultural fan zone’ at Centenary Square from August 13 – 16.
Stars of track and field including Femke Bol, Keely Hodgkinson and Georgia Hunter Bell are expected – plus look out for the championship mascot Bab The Bull.
From 100m to pole vault, expect thrilling results. The full timetable of sessions and timings can be found at the birmingham26 website here.
Tickets start from £10 adults and £5 for under-16s.
