Birmingham Open 26 art exhibition has a theme of ‘Birmingham’ for its third year. This time it is in partnership with Joe Lycett-inspired International Day of Birmingham(IDOB).
Birmingham Colmore, Central BID and IDOB are behind the popular open-call competition and exhibition, which supports emerging artists by championing creative talent inspired by the city.
Birmingham Open 26 will see an independent judging panel convene to discuss entries in early July before a free outdoor exhibition featuring the finalists opens to the public from September 7 to 24 across both Victoria Square and Snow Hill Square.
The final day on September 24 will coincide with International Day of Birmingham 2026.
