Birmingham city centre outdoor art exhibition now Open to visit

Join Central BID and Colmore BID at the Birmingham Open 25 exhibition, an inspiring showcase of emerging artists in Birmingham.

This annual free-to-attend exhibition is back for its second year, profiling and celebrating the incredible talent in our community.

This year’s theme, “LIGHT,” following the first Birmingham Light Festival, has inspired a diverse range of artworks that explore its many facets. As a concept can signify hope, clarity, and transformation, and the Open artists have captured these interpretations beautifully in their creations.

Snow Hill Square will feature the top 10 shortlisted artworks from the competition. These pieces have been selected for their exceptional quality and unique perspectives on the theme of light. Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite artwork for the ‘People’s Choice’ award via a QR code.

At Victoria Square at the lower end of the Floozie fountain, you can explore the remaining artworks from the competition. These pieces showcase the breadth of talent and creativity among Birmingham’s emerging artists. We’re proud of the variety of styles and mediums on display.
