We take a look inside Anytime Fitness gym in Birmingham city centre that lures in sports stars.
You’ll find Anytime Fitness behind an unassuming entrance on the corner of Paradise Circus Queensway and Brunel Street. Go down the stairs and the building opens out into a fully-equipped gym with some of the most sought-after equipment in the fitness world.
The 24-hour gym is where the Women’s England Cricket Team train when they are in the city, ahead of playing at Edgbaston. Gym staff have got used to seeing them around at the friendly venue.

It has state of the art equipment including Hyperice massage guns and an Evolt body-scanning machine giving BMI and weight management readings.
There’s also personalised fitness plans available created by an experienced team.
Manager Ali Bandali said the gym had been open 18 months and was a quiet space for training with state-of-the art facilities and a respected personal trainer Adam Ryan.

“It’s ideal for city centre workers with showers, hairdryers and hair straighteners, and right next to the Town Hall tram stop,” added Ali. “They can come before or after work.
“The Women’s England Cricket Team use us regularly and we have Hyperice and other latest equipment that you don’t see at run of the mill gyms. It’s amazing equipment.
“We pride ourselves on having a friendly team and there’s often member events to stick around for.”
Members to Anytime Fitness are even able to access its other 6,000 plus gyms worldwide including across the UK, Europe and Dubai.
