Nike Rise concept store now open at Bullring

Bullring & Grand Central has opened the UK’s second ever ‘Nike Rise’ concept store and the first outside of London.

The new store takes a 13,000sq ft unit on Rotunda Square near to the iconic Bull. The concept, which recently launched across Asia and the US, is bringing accessible in-store tech to its customers and features several data-driven elements that are specifically tailored to be unique to its location to help shoppers make informed purchasing decisions.

Nike Birmingham will also host local events for members including run clubs and in-store workouts. The new store is the brand’s first concept location in the region and provides customers with an exciting and immersive experience.

Toby Tait, Director Asset Management, Hammerson, said: “This high-profile signing is yet again a clear sign of the value brands see in Bullring & Grand Central; its importance to the UK market and to all the people who live in, work in, and visit Birmingham.

“We are always looking to introduce new and exciting concepts across our portfolio, and Nike Rise is a great example of how we can combine a community focus with retail innovation here in Bullring & Grand Central.”

Having just celebrated its 20th birthday, Bullring & Grand Central continues to transform to engage and excite new and loyal customers. In the run up to Christmas visitors can expect to see a host of new experiential brands and concepts at the destination including M&S, Lane7, Berskha, Pull&Bear, Footasylum and Watches of Switzerland.
