Where to watch the World Cup in Birmingham city centre

The FIFA World Cup 2026 is here and a host of Birmingham city centre venues are showing the games.

Here’s a round-up of pubs, bars and entertainment venues in central Birmingham within our BID area that are perfect to catch England games along with other matches from across Mexico, the US and Canada.

Buzzing areas of the city centre include Temple Street, Bennetts Hill and John Bright Street, packed with pubs and bars. Or if you want to combine a match with an activity, there’s some social sports venues with a difference.

LANE7 at Bullring

Lane7 is an adult playground with bowling alley, arcade games, pool and now screens showing the football too.

“We’re planning to show every England game during the World Cup at Lane7 at Bullring this summer and we’ll be open for walk-ins for matches all season,” said Lane7 staff.

“Big screens. Good vibes. Cold drinks. All the bowling you can handle between kick-offs.”

Flight Club Temple Street

Although known for darts, Flight Club is showing all the England games and more.

They have deals including tables that can be reserved just to watch a match on the big screen, with a £25 deposit redeemable on the bill.

There is also an option to play a game of social darts first for an hour before watching the football in a private area, for a £50 deposit redeemable on the bill. Food and drinks ordered go straight to the oche.

Toca Social – Bullring

Billed as the only place to play and watch football in a bar during the World Cup, Toca Social will be screening every single match of the tournament live.

With virtual screens to play football, you can watch your heroes on the field and then have a go yourself. Lots of packages are available that include standing tickets, reserved tables and deals with food and drink.

The lively Irish Tavern is geared up for the World Cup where fans can enjoy plenty of Guinness and live music around the games.
