The Peaky Blinders wall by Central BID and Castle Fine Art has been refreshed with stunning new artwork by Jon Jones in Birmingham city centre.
Commissioned by Netflix and jointly funded by Central BID, a brand-new mural is now live on Hill Street, near Birmingham New Street station in celebration of the Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man film, released last month on Netflix.
A Peaky Blinders wall by artist Jon Jones was originally installed in 2022. The 50-metre installation has now undergone this refresh to depict scenes from the new movie. It features iconic Tommy Shelby alongside memorable moments and characters from the wider Peaky Blinders series.
Born and raised in Birmingham, Jon Jones has collaborated with West Midlands Police Museum to explore the city’s 19th-century criminal underworld.
Drawing on archival materials, including police records and historic mugshots, he blends fact and fiction to create evocative, atmospheric works. His haunting paintings examine the legacy of the infamous Peaky Blinders, capturing both the myth, and reality of the era.
Jon said: “Updating this mural for such an important moment in the Peaky Blinders story is a real honour. As a proud Brummie, it means a great deal to see the work evolve in the city and continue to connect with people passing through every day.”
Central BID Manager Steve Hewlett explained: “We proudly installed images on the Peaky Blinders wall on Hill Street in 2022, prior to the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, to celebrate the positive global impact Peaky Blinders has had for the city across the world.
“It has become a popular destination for visitors to capture iconic Peaky Blinder selfies. This refresh of stunning Jon Jones art honours Cillian Murphy and his wonderful portrayal of Tommy Shelby and we are extremely grateful to Steven Knight, Netflix and all of the partners involved for allowing this to happen.”

The installation has been delivered in partnership with Central BID Birmingham and Network Rail, reinforcing the city centre as a cultural destination while celebrating its creative heritage.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man film is now streaming on Netflix and the mural is on view at Hill Street, Birmingham.
