First look at Cosy Club Bennetts Hill Christmas dishes on new festive menu.
Christmas is in full swing at Cosy Club’s restaurant and Bar in Birmingham city centre. Along with festive decorations in the historic surroundings, the new Christmas menu for 2025 has launched with two and three-course meal options and special cocktails.
Here’s a look at what’s on offer – from the generous sharing platter starter to turkey in a pie and a new sensational pudding that you’ll dream about.
Events Manager Anna Crysel at Cosy Club in Bennetts Hill said the venue was already busy with Christmas bookings and that new festive cocktails of Toasted Marshmallow Martini and Tiramisu Martini were proving popular.

Other seasonal cocktails include the Spiced Cranberry and Clementine Margarita, Spicy Mezcal Negroni, Cinnamon Maple Old Fashioned and Vanilla and Honey Irish Coffee.
When it comes to the Christmas Dining Menu, this year, instead of choosing an individual starter, there is a large festive platter for the table. It has six options for diners to dip into along with rosemary and sea salt focaccia from Hobbs House Bakery accompanying them.
The platter, pictured below, contains fragrant Sticky Asian Fried Chicken pieces with a soy, chilli and ginger glaze that is moorish. They are breaded, boneless chicken pieces and come in a decadent sauce that’s delicious.
The Whipped Feta and Hot Honey is a light, creamy dip that goes perfectly with the bread while the Pigs In Blankets are large and have a cider, honey and mustard glaze.

Panko Crumbed Butterfly Prawns with a chilli jam on the side, crispy Forest Mushroom and Black Garlic Arancini filled with Gran Levanto cheese are both standout offerings and there are also tasty Harissa and Maple Roasted Carrots sprinkled with crispy chickpeas that add variety.
The whole platter is substantial and the main meals that follow are generous too, so you may want to wear something elasticated to this Christmas bash.
There are four mains to choose from on the Cosy Club Christmas menu including Roasted Pork Belly with garlic mash and vegetables to Maple Roasted Squash with a shallot and white bean puree.
We got a closer look at the two other main courses – The Cosy Christmas Pie and Herb Crusted Fillet of Salmon, which comes with a pristine roasted leek perched on top.

It’s a proper, perfectly-formed pastry pie too filled to the brim with roast turkey and smoked ham hock with creamy garlic mash, red cabbage, a pig in blanket and maple and rosemary roasted carrots.
Not for the faint hearted, it’s mighty filling but warming and delicious for a cold night.
The salmon is lighter and matched with dauphinoise potato, wilted spinach and a lip-licking dill and white wine cream sauce, as shown above. You’ll want to savour every last drop.

It’s going to be hard with Cosy Club’s ample meal sizes but definitely try to save room for dessert, which is an extra £7 on top of the two-course menu. There’s four options and a cheese board to decide from but they are all a treat.
The Christmas Pudding, shown below, is packed with fruit and comes with a warm brandy custard.
Our favourite was the Bruleed Miso Caramel Custard Tart, above, which was created by the Cosy Club in Bath by its chef Fabio. It’s divine. Sweet, gooey and melts in the mouth, it’s unforgettable.

There’s also a lighter pudding of a Lemon and Raspberry Parfait or a Dark Chocolate Mousse, catering for all tastes.
Time for maybe one more seasonal cocktail in the sparkling main bar area that is now dressed with huge Christmas trees and decorated with Victorian vintage charm. Think antique lampshades, atmospheric grand paintings and high ceilings with a long wooden bar.
The Cosy Club festive menus festive set menus start from just £28.95. Find Cosy Club Bennetts Hill at 33 Bennetts Hill, Birmingham city centre, B2 5SN.
