Oseyo Korean supermarket is set to open in Birmingham city centre and offer shoppers exclusive products like Netflix Squid Game snacks.
The company says it is “the largest Asian retailer in the UK” that will stock a range of Asian items. Shoppers will be able to buy Korean foods, stationery, toys, houseware and electronics from Oseyo.
Work is continuing to fit out the shop, which will neighbour Sports Direct, in New Street.
Oseyo already has branches in many suburbs of London and Manchester. It claims to be “a forward thinking brand” that is “revolutionising what it means to be a supermarket”.
“We bring the elegance, tradition, vibrance and excitement of Korea to the UK with a focus on high quality shop environments and excellent customer service,” said an Oseyo spokesperson.
Items on sale range from tuna with spicy juice to Kimchi pizza and packs of Netflix Squid Game Korean Sweet Dalgona.
It plans to be open long hours from 9am to 10pm.
