ONU Birmingham is a long-standing independent menswear store going strong for over 30 years in the city centre, selling brands from Gucci to Casablanca.
It’s one of the independent fashion success stories for the city, selling designer clothing for men and boys from its boutique in Stephenson Street, opposite New Street Station.
Owner of ONU Raheel Zahoor said it was important to keep up with in-demand fashion brands and provide exclusives for customers. Something he has done for over three decades.
Although ONU sells via its website, he added that shopping instore still offered an experience that you couldn’t compare to shopping online.
“When you’re buying a £500 designer T-shirt, you want to try it on and feel the material,” explained Raheel.
“You want the experience that comes with buying a designer product.
“I was 27-years-old when I started this business. My father-in-law was in the fashion shop business and I loved clothing and dressing myself well.
“That led me to open my own fashion store and it went from there.”
Regular offers at ONU Birmingham include up to 50% off designer products by Givenchy and Balenciaga and up to 40% savings on Casablanca Paris.
“We provide a variety of designer products including Burberry, Canada Goose and Prada,” added Raheel.
“The most popular is Stone Island but also Casablanca at the moment, but there’s timeless brands like Gucci, Fendi and Mont Clair that are always in demand.”
Pristine shirts, jackets and shoes by the leading fashion brands fill the shop while there’s also top of the range and vintage bags, sunglasses and other accessories in cabinets.
It’s another independent shop in Birmingham city centre for fashion lovers helping to make the city a world-leading venue for shopping.
