The Body Shop is celebrating its 50th anniversary today(Friday, March 27) with special events and freebies at stores including at Birmingham’s Bullring.
Along with celebratory cupcakes in-store, the first 50 shoppers will receive an exclusive goodie bag worth over £45.
There will also be complimentary engraving on selected products and exclusive gifts with purchases, including limited edition baseball caps, one-time-only hand charms and more.
The Body Shop has been going strong for five decades on the high street and has become renowned for challenging industry norms and reshaping beauty culture.
To mark its celebratory year, the brand is using the tagline ‘Rebellious by nature since 1976’. It has led the way on becoming a feel-good destination for ethically made skincare, haircare, and beauty with skin consultations and personalised beauty advice available in-store.
All products are vegan, never tested on animals, and packed with natural ingredients. It has been a trailblazer, launching its groundbreaking Community Fair Trade programme over 35 years ago.
The Body Shop on the middle level of Bullring is open today from 9.30am until 7pm.
Its usual opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
