First look as new Disney Store Birmingham opens with exclusives

Disney Store has returned to Birmingham city centre inside Selfridges at Bullring and here’s a first look along with special offers during opening weekend.

Disney fans were queueing to be among the first to shop exclusives at the Birmingham store this morning(Wednesday, July 29) including Winnie The Pooh plush toys and keyrings.

Even Selfridges‘ famous bull was dressed for the occasion with sparkly Mickey Mouse ears. An iconic Disney Store Key Ceremony got the unveiling under way before crowds descended on the long-awaited shopping destination.

Based on Level 1 of Selfridges, the new Disney Store is an immersive shopping experience and haven for all ages who adore nothing more than escaping into a world of Frozen, Disney princesses and Mickey and friends.

A huge Mickey Mouse in his outfit from Fantasia greets shoppers with a smile. Behind him are glittering rows of official Disney, Pixar, MARVEL and Star Wars™ merchandise.

Exclusive products include Winnie The Pooh limited edition pin badges – only 1,500 are available and on sale especially for the launch.

There are also iconic plush yellow Winnie The Pooh and Mickey Mouse toys and key rings, priced between £26 and £45, which are only available at Disney Stores in Selfridges Birmingham and London and quickly sell out.

The store even sells items normally only available at Disneyland Paris, including the famous Mickey Mouse clock at £149.

But don’t worry if you missed opening day as there is more to look forward to this weekend. To celebrate opening weekend, from Saturday August 1 to Sunday August 2 , shoppers spending £50 or more who are members of the free Selfridges Unlocked programme will receive a Disney and Pixar Toy Story Lotso plush keyring mystery box, while stocks last.
