Rudell The Jewellers has become the title sponsor of five-year-old Birmingham-born British racing talent Raef Virdee.
The family-run jewellery company, with a showroom in New Street, said it was incredibly proud to support Raef at an “exciting stage in his journey”. Throughout the upcoming season, Rudell The Jewellers will proudly support Raef as he continues to develop his racing career, providing encouragement on and off the circuit.
Starting at the age of four, Raef’s competitive karting career has already captured national attention for being the UK’s youngest racing driver. As a Birmingham-born racer, Raef’s story resonated strongly with Rudell’s own regional heritage.

Jon Weston, Managing Director of Rudell The Jewellers, said: “As a jeweller with deep roots in the local community, we are always drawn to stories of ambition and passion.
“Raef embodies both of these qualities, and this partnership allows us to celebrate talent at its earliest stages while looking confidently toward the future.”
The business added that this special partnership brought together two names united by shared values of precision, passion, and ambition, marking a meaningful collaboration.

For Rudells, a jewellery business with Black Country roots dating back to 1938, explained that supporting emerging talent had always been a natural extension of the brand’s ethos.
Much like the meticulous artistry found in fine watchmaking and jewellery design, motorsport demands discipline, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence, a spokesperson added.
These qualities are embodied in Raef, whose talent, confidence, and fearless approach on track reflects a maturity far beyond his years.
